Actress ANNA FARIS

Actress ANNA FARIS' proudest career achievement is the 'Stonette of the Year' prize she was awarded by editors at marijuana magazine High Times.
The star was singled out for the award in October 2007, because of her roles in Smiley Face and Entourage, and presented a working bong as a prize.
She tells Time Out New York, "I've got my bong award on my fireplace. It's the only award I've ever won. I'm so proud."
And she hints she has used the smoking tool for its intended purpose: 'It does work. I can celebrate myself while enjoying myself."

Critics haven't much good to say about the plot of House Bunny, but they do have much praise to heap on its star, Anna Faris. Nathan Lee begins his review in the New York Times by proclaiming "All hail Anna Faris, fake bimbo par excellence, master of the birdbrained double take, our reigning queen of intelligent stupidity." Lou Lumenick in the New York Post begins his by observing "Perhaps only Anna Faris could make a female-empowerment comedy produced by Adam Sandler tolerable." And in the Toronto Star , Linda Barnard starts off " The House Bunny pulls a rabbit out of a hat with Anna Faris, whose comic charms -- to say nothing of her physical ones -- work some magic on this otherwise weak effort."

Singer KATHARINE MCPHEE and actress ANNA FARIS spent their childhood summers a block away from each other but never actually met until they were movie co-stars.
The pair teamed up for new comedy House Bunny and quickly realised they had a lot in common.
American Idol star MCPhee explains, "Anna is from Edmonds, Washington and my whole family is from there, and so basically I grew up spending my whole summers there, so we were basically neighbours."

AMERICAN IDOL star KATHARINE MCPHEE has married actor NICK COKAS in a lavish ceremony in Los Angeles. The 23-year-old singer-turned-actress has been dating Cokas - who is 19 years her senior - for over a year after they met on the set of a theatre production. And the couple, who got engaged last year (07), finally wed at Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church on Saturday (02Feb08), according to People.com. MCPhee wore a strapless ivory Manuel Mota gown to walk down the aisle at the ceremony which was attended by 305 guests, including fellow American Idol contestants Kellie Pickler and Mandisa.
